European mountain native lily with whorls of broad leaves and tall stems carrying many small downward-facing flowers with strongly recurved petals (Turk’s cap form) in dusty pink or white speckled with darker spots.

Growing notes
- Plant in dappled woodland edge shade — tolerates more shade than most lilies, succeeds where trumpet lilies will not
- Many small flowers per stem, scented mildly in the evening
- Slow to establish from dry bulbs — buy bulbs as fresh as possible and plant immediately, or buy growing plants in pots
