Wollemi pine

Wollemia nobilis

Living-fossil conifer rediscovered in 1994 in a hidden NSW gorge, the only surviving member of an ancient lineage previously known only from fossils. Unusual bubbly-textured chocolate-brown bark and dark green strap-like foliage.

  • Plant only nursery-propagated commercial stock with verified provenance
  • Slow growing initially, eventually 40 m tall in habitat
