Short-lived perennial clover bridging white and red — pink-flushed flower heads, similar growth habit. Tolerates wet and acidic soils where other clovers fail.

Growing notes
- The clover of choice for waterlogged or acidic ground
- Can cause photosensitivity ("alsike clover poisoning") in horses — do not include in horse pasture
